Health & Fitness Requirements

This journey involves high-altitude travel, reaching elevations up to 5,630m (18,471ft) at the Dolma La Pass. Participants must be in good physical health and cardiovascular condition. Prior trekking experience is recommended. Full medical clearance from your physician is required before registration confirmation.

Pilgrimage with Purpose

This pilgrimage is a non-profit initiative. All proceeds directly support the Drangsong Foundation's traditional medicine preservation projects, sustaining ancient healing lineages in the Himalayas.

MAY 2026

Spring Pilgrimage

May 5 – 19, 2026 • 15 Days

Eligibility Restriction Open to International Passport Holders Only (Non-Indian Citizens).

Experience the awakening of spring in the Himalayas, when the mountain reveals itself in pristine clarity.

Kathmandu Arrival & Preparation 1,400m

Welcome reception, permit processing, and spiritual orientation. Evening gathering with traditional Nepali dinner.

Kathmandu to Kyirong (Border) 2,800m

Scenic drive through the Nepal-Tibet border. Acclimatization in Kyirong with rest.

Saga to Lake Manasarovar & Darchen 4,590m

Journey across the Tibetan plateau to the holy Lake Manasarovar for ceremonial bath, then to Darchen base camp.

Mount Kailash Kora (Parikrama) Max 5,630m

The sacred 3-day circumambulation. Crossing Dolma La pass. Walking in the footsteps of the ancients.
